Hi, I’m Jack Steel, a medical student with a genuine love for both people and the science that underpins healthcare. I studied at Dame Alice Owen’s School in North London and am now training at Sheffield Medical School, where I’ve developed a strong interest in clinical medicine and communication.
Outside of my studies, I’m captain of the Sheffield Medics Football Team and manage the University of Sheffield Women’s Football Team. I’ve run two marathons, and I’m a keen climber and walker — being outdoors keeps me grounded and focused. I also value the friendships I’ve built through sport and study — medicine is demanding, and having a great support network makes all the difference.
